Seed priming
Seed Enhancements has done a large volume of commercial and trial work with Primed Seed. During 2009 a new state of the art priming facility will be commisioned at our Pukekohe base.
A Seed Priming Service for a number of species including Lettuce, Parsnip, Onion and Carrot will be available.
Priming will improve speed and uniformity of seed germination and optimize seed performance under extremes of temperature and moisture availability. Please contact us for more information.
Thiram soaking
A treatment for control of deep seated seed-borne fungal diseases such as Phoma. Can improve germination on crops such as Beets.
Seed lot upgrading
Performance of some seed lots can be improved by various upgrading methods. Typically germination uniformity and final germination percentages are improved. Please ask for details.
